Said Ahmed is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Safe Start. His journey in leadership began long before his business career. At just 12 years old, he served as a soccer team captain, and by age 14, he was managing and mentoring more than ten youth teams in Kenya. Throughout his soccer career, both in Kenya and later in the United States, Said consistently demonstrated strong leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to guiding others toward success.
Building on those early experiences, Said entered the transportation industry in 2018, developing a deep understanding of logistics, operations, and customer service. In 2021, he founded his first trucking company, which laid the groundwork for the creation of Safe Start in 2024.
Today, under Said’s leadership, SafeRide is recognized for its reliability, compassion, and dedication to community service. His lifelong leadership, integrity, and passion for helping others continue to drive the company’s mission of providing safe, accessible, and professional transportation to those in need.
